Each season, Brocéliande’s exhibition hall, the Gateway to Secrets, renews its works to offer you an ever-changing experience. The exhibitions highlight :
- artists of regional or even national renown,
- local artists who bring Brocéliande’s cultural heritage to life,
- local associations, which are essential to the artistic influence of the region.
All share a common inspiration drawn from the evocative power of the Forest of Brocéliande and present various art forms in this gallery : painting, illustration, photography, sculpture, and more.

Dryad
from 10th of July to 13th of September 2026
With Dryad, Séverine Pineaux explores themes at the heart of Brocéliande’s identity: the forest, legends and the role of female figures in these tales. Through her characters inspired by the plant world, she offers a sensitive vision of nature that is at once protective, mysterious and resilient. This contemporary interpretation of the links between life, memory and the passing down of traditions echoes the imaginings that have always inhabited the Forest of Brocéliande.

A storytelling walk linked to Séverine Pineaux’s ‘Dryad’ exhibition
Echoing Séverine Pineaux’s Dryad exhibition, this storytelling walk invites you to extend the experience in the heart of nature.
Guided by the “Fairy of Chance”, you’ll follow the forest paths to discover stories inspired by the trees, fantastical creatures and legends that populate the artist’s world. A poetic interlude between the realm of the imagination and the plant world.
Two exclusive dates: Tuesday 14 July and Saturday 15 August
The storytelling walk is conducted exclusively in French.
Summer Book Signings
Meet the authors and illustrators of Brocéliande all summer long
Throughout the summer, Brocéliande, the Gateway to Secrets, is showcasing local authors and illustrators who, through their stories and creations, help to bring the world of Brocéliande to life.
Through their books, illustrations and creations, these artists bring to life the iconic characters and landscapes that make up the rich tapestry of this forest of legends.
During these events, visitors are invited to discover the artists’ worlds, to chat with them about their artistic approach and their work as writers or illustrators, and to have their books signed.
