In the heart of Paimpont, this immersive scenographic path invites young and old alike to discover the world of the forest through its enchanted tales and explore legends, nature and emotions.

Enter the imaginary world of Brocéliande

Housed in a wing of Paimpont Abbey, the ‘Brocéliande, the Gate of Secrets’ exhibition takes you on a journey through six animated rooms to discover the many facets of this legendary forest… Guided by the voice of Pierre, the forest ranger, his tales of adventure will transport you through history, legends, symbols and local culture. An immersive and poetic experience, not to be missed before setting off on a walk along the trails of Brocéliande !

The trip continues, with a new door opening… That of the artistic dimension of Brocéliande revealed through the eyes of artists inspired by the wonder and imagination offered by the nature of this region.

Extend the adventure
with storytelling walks

After immersing yourself in Brocéliande, the Gate of Secrets, complete your visit in the company of a storyteller. Among forests, valleys and legends, enjoy an unforgettable experience alongside Merlin, Viviane and other spirits of the undergrowth… Here, the megaliths come to life, the trees awaken and your eyes are opened to the imagination.

Is it necessary to book in advance?

To fully enjoy Brocéliande, the Gate of Secrets, we recommend booking your visit in advance. During the summer season, we advise booking at least two days in advance to ensure you get the time slot that suits you best.

Can I change or cancel my booking?

Tickets purchased are non-exchangeable and non-refundable, except in the case of medical or exceptional circumstances, upon presentation of supporting documentation.

What payment methods are accepted?

Payments by credit card, cash, cheque and Chèques Vacances Classic holiday vouchers are accepted on site. For online bookings, payments by credit card and Chèques Vacances Connect holiday vouchers are accepted.

Are pets permitted?

No, animals are not permitted on the Brocéliande, the Gate of Secrets path.

Is the scenographic path suitable for children?

Yes, Brocéliande, the Gate of Secrets is recommended for children aged 5 and over. Some videos about local legends (the White Lady, night washerwomen, wolves) may frighten young children or sensitive visitors.

Is the scenographic path accessible to people with reduced mobility?

Yes, Brocéliande, the Gate of Secrets is accessible to people with reduced mobility. A lift is available to access areas with stairs. Please note that the person accompanying a disabled visitor is entitled to free admission.
